Cathy knows this struggle personally.

For 35 years I’ve been a personal trainer. I had all the head knowledge — and I was still stuck. My Friday nights were me, a Costco-size bag of popcorn, and a stack of Blockbuster videos. I wasn’t eating because I was hungry. I was eating because I was hurting — and I didn’t know any other way to handle the hurt.

It wasn’t until I came back to Christ in my late twenties that real transformation began. As the Lord worked in me, I started seeing all the lies I’d believed — about my body, my worth, my identity. Food had been my comfort, my reward, my friend. But food never canceled on me, never made me feel like a burden — and that’s exactly why I couldn’t put it down.

Real freedom came when I stopped trying to will my way thin and started letting God heal what was underneath. That’s the path I now walk women through.
